About the Chamber
Member Services Committee
Mandate:
The mandate of the Membership Services Committee is to assess the needs of Guelph businesses. Based on market research and analysis, the Committee recommends programs and services to recruit new members and retain existing members.
In consultation with the Board of Directors, the Committee:
- establishes targets for recruitment and acceptable levels of retention based on market research
- reviews and evaluates progress towards targets
- conducts market research and analysis
- maintains a database
- develops programs, services and marketing strategies to address low recruitment/retention by size of organization/sector
- reviews marketing materials and sales program
- promotes member participation in Chamber events, programs and services
