About the Chamber

Program Committee

Mandate:

To provide a wide variety of core chamber events that encourages participation and delivers maximum value for all business sectors of GCC membership.

Aims & Objectives:

  • To provide  networking opportunities
  • To provide a  variety of activities that appeal to a wide spectrum of individual members
  • To promote the best interests of members.
  • To provide educational and training opportunities
  • To provide ongoing evaluation of all core programs to continuously improve value to our members.

Committee Make Up:

A GCC member that is approved and appointed by the Executive Committee, for a one-year term commencing July 1st, will chair the Program Committee. The Program Committee shall consist of 8 to 15 members that are representative of the various sectors of membership and will be approved by the Executive Committee.  The term of the program committee members is two years. A vice-chair will serve on the committee as the Committee Chairperson Elect, and will be selected from past committee members.

The committee is chaired by Elizabeth Bonkink, of the Guelph Humane Society, and includes the following members:
