The Chamber’s Lunch & Learn series runs on the second Wednesday of the month from January through to May from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch is served at noon and is followed by a keynote speaker from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Topics and speakers are selected closer to the event date to ensure timely and relevant topics.

There are a series of 8 Business After Five’s which are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. between October and June (excluding December). A variety of member organizations and businesses host a Business After Five offering refreshments and tours of their facilities. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet your chamber colleagues and network with other members of Guelph’s vibrant business community.

The Chamber Plus Networks is a strong and proven program that helps increase your business volume, networking skills and your referral base. Chamber Pub Nights run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday of the month all year long. Join us after work for this informal get together that provides an opportunity for business to business networking in a relaxed atmosphere. No registration needed and Pub Nights are open to both members and non-members of the chamber.

Hosted for the Guelph small business commuinity, this monthly event will feature a short success story from a local business and provide mentor/facilitator led table discussions with interests and needs being driven by the attendees. The Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala is held in June of every year. The evening begins with a delicious four course dinner followed by the presentation of awards to several local businesses, organizations and individuals in recognition of their excellence in providing exemplary service and quality programs in our community. The Guelph Awards of Excellence provides an opportunity for the Guelph community to celebrate our many significant achievements. It is a night of inspiration and celebration!

The Guelph Chamber of Commerce holds a semi-annual New Members Reception in May and November. This event is specifically organized to welcome and introduce new members to our Board of Directors, Guelph Chamber of Commerce staff and committee volunteers. We provide our new members with information and materials ensuring that they are aware of the value and many benefits available to them as a chamber member. The Cambridge, Guelph and Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chambers of Commerce are excited to announce this new initiative for 2012! The Business Expo is a large-scale exhibitor event that has the added feature of four speakers spread throughout the evening. Admission to this event is free to the general public and local restaurants and caterers are on hand to provide samples of their delicious specialties.

The GCC Annual General Meeting is held in October each year.
Come out and enjoy a day of golf and networking! The GCC Golf Tournament is a scramble format with a 12:30 p.m. shot gun start. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, lunch and dinner as well as a prize table with many fabulous prizes donated by local organizations!
