The Chamber’s Lunch & Learn series runs on the second Wednesday of the month from January through to May from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch is served at noon and is followed by a keynote speaker from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Topics and speakers are selected closer to the event date to ensure timely and relevant topics.

There are a series of 8 Business After Five’s which are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. between October and June (excluding December). A variety of member organizations and businesses host a Business After Five offering refreshments and tours of their facilities. Take advantage of the opportunity to meet your chamber colleagues and network with other members of Guelph’s vibrant business community.

Chamber Pub Nights run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the third Monday of the month all year long. Join us after work for this informal get together that provides an opportunity for business to business networking in a relaxed atmosphere. No registration needed and Pub Nights are open to both members and non-members of the chamber.

This event is a joint venture with the Cambridge, Guelph and Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chambers of Commerce. Admission is free to the general public but registration is required to book a display booth – booths are available to chamber members only. We have some great door prizes and local restaurants and caterers are on site to provide samples of their delicious specialities.

The Guelph Awards of Excellence Gala is held in June of every year. The evening begins with a delicious four course dinner followed by the presentation of awards to several local businesses, organizations and individuals in recognition of their excellence in providing exemplary service and quality programs in our community. The Guelph Awards of Excellence provides an opportunity for the Guelph community to celebrate our many significant achievements. It is a night of inspiration and celebration!

The objective of Career Pathways is to expose approximately 1600 local grade 8 students to the many career opportunities in the Guelph area and introduce them to the quality organizations in our community. We have interactive exhibits displaying activities and careers that will assist students in making informed decisions for their future education and training.
