Tour de Guelph

In three years, Tour de Guelph has raised over $150,000 for Guelph General Hospital and for local and international Rotary projects.

This community bicycling event is for all ages and abilities. Choose from six routes, the family-friendly 5 and 10 km all the way to the 160 km route.

SummerFest on the Green

Skills Ontario Summer Camp - All Boys'

Skills Ontario Summer Camp is a week-long day program for kids entering grades 7-9. Through hands-on activities relevant to the skilled trades, campers develop communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Campers take part in hands-on counselor and industry-led workshops in the industrial, construction, motive power, services and technology sectors; they explore careers in skilled trades through interactive games, industry tours and entrepreneurship programs. Schedules vary per location based on available volunteers and programming.

The camps are facilitated in partnership with colleges, industries and community volunteers who are committed to giving the campers an outstanding hands-on experience.

Aviation Fun Day

The Region of Waterloo International Airport community throws open the doors for a fun-filled day of demonstrations and displays! This is a FREE event with the donation of a non-perishable food item in support of the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank and Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
 
Grab your comfy shoes and explore the airport on foot. Learn how the aviation industry operates with stops at the Airport’s Terminal Building, Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Youth Development Centre, Great Lakes Helicopter and Flite Line Services.
 
See airport equipment, vintage aircraft and classic cars; meet pilots from the Canadian Owners & Pilots Association and Recreational Aircraft Association; and take a scenic flight (additional fees apply). Fun for the whole family.
