Aviation Fun Day

The Region of Waterloo International Airport community throws open the doors for a fun-filled day of demonstrations and displays! This is a FREE event with the donation of a non-perishable food item in support of the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank and Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
 
Grab your comfy shoes and explore the airport on foot. Learn how the aviation industry operates with stops at the Airport’s Terminal Building, Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Youth Development Centre, Great Lakes Helicopter and Flite Line Services.
 
See airport equipment, vintage aircraft and classic cars; meet pilots from the Canadian Owners & Pilots Association and Recreational Aircraft Association; and take a scenic flight (additional fees apply). Fun for the whole family.
 
Parking $4.50 per vehicle.

WWFC Golf Tournament

Join us! Gather a group of four, eight or just yourself and participate in this fantastic event to raise funds for student pilots. The tournament is open to men and women, avid golfers and beginners alike.

This is the first annual WWFC Golf Tournament fundraiser for student pilot scholarships. Training to be a pilot is very costly and many aviation students are not eligible for OSAP or other financial support. We are seeking support to help students with offsetting the cost.
