Chamber Welcomes Dynamic New Board at Annual General Meeting

“As the leading voice of business, the Guelph Chamber is directed by a Board that provides guidance and strategic oversight to management,” says Melanie Lang, incoming Chair of the Board of Directors. “Each year, the Chamber’s Membership, of over 800 businesses and organizations, elects Directors to the Board that will direct the organization on its Members’ behalf through the coming year.”

“As Directors, we have much work to do as we develop and implement the Strategic Plan for 2019-2021.” “We remain committed to providing unwavering support for the business community and advocating passionately to ensure that Guelph remains a prominent place along the corridor. I remain confident that, with this talented Board and the Chamber team, our goals are attainable,” concludes Lang.

“The Chamber team is incredibly excited to begin work with the new Board,” says Kithio Mwanzia, President & CEO of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce. “As we look into the future, we must remain focused on how we can best ensure we are contributing actively to Guelph’s greatness. Over the coming months, we will begin to put pen to paper as we gear up to develop and launch the Strategic Plan for 2019-2021.”
