UPDATE: COVID-19 Coronavirus & Guelph Chamber

Mar 16, 2020

Please read below for the latest information on the Guelph Chamber and COVID-19. We look forward to continuing to support our members and the business community during this time.

Guelph Chamber Office

To help slow the rate of COVID-19 infection, the Guelph Chamber office will be closed to the public until further notice.  All staff will continue to be available from 8:30am – 4:30pm by email. For a list of staff addresses, please click here. Please feel free to provide your phone number via email if you require a phone call. We are committed to supporting our members and community during this difficult time.

Guelph Chamber Events

All in-person Guelph Chamber of Commerce events scheduled in March and April will be postponed. All registrants will be provided a full refund. Please note that refunds may take up to a week to complete. If you have any questions about an event or a refund, please email isobel@guelphchamber.com. One of the key factors in this decision is the need to foster a degree of “social distancing”, as recommended by public health authorities. Our goal is to help interrupt the chain of transmission in the wider community, thereby protecting vulnerable individuals and ensuring that our health care system will not become overburdened.

Please note that the Pandemic Mitigation and Response Planning Webinar on March 19th will continue.

Certificates of Origin

Please note that Certificates of Origin will be made available on Thursdays between 8:30am-1:00pm. If you have any questions, please contact shayne@guelphchamber.com.

Boardrooms

All Boardroom Rentals have been cancelled until further notice.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will communicate changes accordingly through our website. Please refer to Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health for health-related supports and to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for resources and guides to support your business.

In an effort to provide our members with the knowledge and tools to develop effective pandemic mitigation and response plans, we are offering a Pandemic Mitigation and Response Planning Webinar on Thursday March 19th at 9:00am.  For more information or to register to participate please click here.
